Ashoka College Nursery
Ashoka College Nursery, situated in Horana within the Kalutara district, is renowned for its exceptional childcare services. Our Nursery program consists of two sections Lower and Upper dedicated to the education and care of children aged 3 to 5 years. This developmental stage is of utmost importance, and our paramount vision and mission revolve around providing a comprehensive educational environment for our young learners. Our facilities offer a bright, nurturing, and welcoming ambiance, focusing on tailored learning experiences for each child.
Primary Education
Primary education is an important part of A childās academic journey.Ā Here at Ashoka College, learning plans focus on literacy, numeracy & well-being to create a solid foundation of a child.. In Grade 1 and 2, the kids hone their reading and writing, speaking and listening skills. Teaching style is followed up with two teachers in a class. It ensures smooth progression to provide individual attention to each childās development.
Grede 3-5
Our primary desire is to facilitate a comprehensive and nurturing educational environment for our young learners. We aim to provide a balanced blend of academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and personal development opportunities. By focusing on holistic education, we strive to foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning in our students. We are pleased to provide 8 main subjects along with sub practical subjects to divers our kids in each sections..
Intermediate Level
This stage of education is crucial in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students. In Grades 6 to 9, our curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded education, laying a solid foundation for higher levels of learning. During these years, students are introduced to a broad spectrum of subjects that cater to their intellectual and creative development.
Ordinary Level
This stage of education marks a pivotal point in the lives of our students, both academically and as individuals. Students are expected to divert their focus mainly towards their Ordinary Level Examinations, to set a strong foundation for Advanced Level and higher education.
Advanced Level
Our aim is to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded education to our students, preparing them for higher education and future careers. We offer three main subject streams for Advanced Level students. Physical Science, Commerce, and Arts. Each stream is designed to cater to the diverse interests and career aspirations of our students, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their chosen fields.
Ashoka College -Horana, is an Authorized Cambridge Exams Preparation Center for British Council - Sri Lanka.
