Aesthetic
Students are introduced to clubs and prepared for various contests such as Chess and Gymnastic tournaments, speech, dancing, singing, and art. Our teachers help and train students to achieve ranks with medals and trophies.
Field visits and physical education activities, Independence Day New Year Festival, Vesak Programme, Annual Esala Procession, Kids Fair, Kite Festival, Annual Education Excursion, Annual Concert, Cookery Day, Animal Day, English Camp, Weekly Assemblies, Sports and other co-curricular activities annually continued and create a positive learning environment.

Elocution for kids focuses on developing effective public speaking and communication skills. It involves teaching children how to speak clearly, confidently, and persuasively in front of an audience. aims to empower children with the skills and confidence to express themselves effectively and communicate with clarity and impact.
- Buddhism
Buddhism for kids introduces the fundamental teachings and principles of Buddhism in a way that is accessible, engaging, and relevant to their lives. The Annual Fair – 2026 of the Grade 4 Section
The Annual Fair – 2026 of the Grade 4 Sectionwas successfully conducted by the students under the guidance of their teachers to help them gain practical knowledge about money transactions and basic business skills. The students gave priority to homemade food items in order to encourage healthy eating habits and avoid artificial foods. Through this activity, they learned how to handle money, calculate and give the correct balance, serve food in a proper manner and interact politely with customers. The fair provided a valuable hands-on learning experience while developing their confidence, responsibility and teamwork skills.

Annual Fair – 2026 (Grade 05)
The Grade 5 students of Ashoka College – Horana organized an Annual Fair to learn how to handle money and develop entrepreneurial skills. Through this fair, students gained experience in buying and selling items, working as a team and communicating with customers. They sold fruits, vegetables, coconuts, green leaves and beverages. The fair was held on Thursday, 21st May 2026 at the Preaching Hall within the school premises. Teachers also bought items from the stalls and encouraged the students. Students from different grades visited the fair and supported the young entrepreneurs.
